“Classic, clean, simple photos is my photography style. I show intimate moments and LOVE candids. You don’t always need to plan the photo. Sometimes it’s nice to just let it transpire.”

A lover of film photography and portraiture, Rachel was influenced by her studies at Randolph Community College in Asheboro, NC along with an intensive summer program at the School of Creative and Performing Arts (SOCAPA) in New York. After receiving an Associate’s Degree in commercial photography, she had several internships including one at Charleston Magazine. After concluding her internship, she decided Charleston was a perfect place to call home and quickly found her passion for the city’s beautiful scenery and the storytelling potential of wedding photography.

A native New Yorker, Rachel is indeed a Yankees fan and considers herself a bit of an ice cream fanatic. She also cannot turn away a kitten or cat in need so don’t be surprised if she has a house full of felines one day. Aside from her photography ventures, she loves to travel and jumps at the chance for new adventures and to explore unfamiliar locations.
