The Parsonage at St. Johannes is a gorgeous venue with stunning interior decor and groomed exterior spaces perfect for all portraits. For some recent Parsonage bridal portraits, Rachel used every inch of the home to frame the bride-to-be Kate, and we’re elated to share our favorites with you today. Kate was absolutely radiant surrounded by the period pieces and subtle pink and white palette of the house. Her a-line gown complimented the style and romantic architecture perfectly. The lace overlay on the bodice and across the shoulders pulled together the ensemble into further elegance. A lush bouquet of white roses and seeded eucalyptus was the perfect accessory to Kate’s bridal look.
The rose-gold room upstairs was an amazing location for some simply regal portraits. The sunlight streaming in through the huge windows set the room ablaze with golden lights and Kate looked stunning standing by the window and lounging by the vanity. An iconic Charleston staple, the flying stairs were perfect for top-down portraits showcasing a smiling bride with the architecture curving around her. She looked so happy standing with her father as she relaxed out on the wraparound porch. And we believe that no photos are truly complete until we get to play with a puppy! Kate was so happy just snuggling with her fur-baby, laughing the entire time. Outside in the sun, it was the perfect end to a beautiful day.
Thank you for bringing us along to capture your amazing portraits and we are so happy that we were there for all of the magic at your wedding. We wish you and Stuart all of the best moving forward. Congratulations!
