Andrea & David { Creek Club at I’On Wedding }

We have a lovely Creek Club at I’On wedding to share with you today!  Creek Club at I’On is the perfect waterfront venue with classic southern charm.  The spacious lawn is an ideal ceremony spot as it overlooks Hobcaw Creek, and the Club house design mimics a picturesque lowcountry home with its wraparound porch and rustic fireplaces.  It’s no wonder that Andrea and David selected Creek Club at I’On as the backdrop for their beautiful wedding.

The couple’s love story begins with a chance meeting while Andrea was visiting family in South Carolina.  Though Andrea resided on the west coast at the time, the two became friends and stayed in touch.  It wasn’t until David’s military deployment that the pair’s friendship evolved into more.  During that time Andrea and David communicated regularly through letters and after several months realized they cared for each other deeply.  Upon David’s return stateside, the couple retained a cross-country romance for a time.  Fortunately, Andrea’s profession finally brought her to South Carolina and it wasn’t long until they were ready to wed.

We absolutely love Andrea’s bridal style.  Her choice of Katie May’s Geneva gown is an iconic bridal dress with its unique ribbon embroidery and plunging open back design.  Andrea’s partial updo and curls are complimented well with dangling diamond earrings and matching necklace.  Her regal look is equally matched with David’s classic black tux and bow tie.  We also adore the bridesmaids’ mix-n-match gowns in wisteria purple paired with the groomsmen’s gray suits.

The ceremony took place outdoors on the lawn with Hobcaw Creek as the backdrop.  After exchanging vows in front of their family and friends, the couple took time for plenty of romantic portraits around the venue.  We especially love their sunset portraits on the pier simply wrapped in one another’s arms.

The reception space was elegantly decorated with white and purple roses accented with gold geometric centerpieces or classic vases.  We like the playful rustic touches with the guest map and surname sign that serve as touching keepsakes from the wedding.  As the sun set, the newlyweds hit the dance floor with their guests to celebrate their special day.

Congratulations Andrea and David!  Thank you for having us document these once-in-a-lifetime moments and we hope that your marriage is filled with plenty of adventure, love, and laughter.
